Thanks to Whitehall-Coplay School District for hosting us for an evening with the wonderful families and children of Whitehall. We read The Bone War and shared our journey thus far with a little behind the scenes glimpse into the writing and illustrating process. We wrapped up each presentation with a reading of Lap Cat Deluxe and signed copies of our stories for the children.

On behalf of the Whitehall-Coplay School District and our Elementary students and families, we want to thank you both for joining us last evening. The presentation was very engaging and we appreciate you sharing all of the wonderful information about the inspiration for your books, as well as the writing and illustrating process. We are so glad that our students were able to add your wonderful books to their home book collections. We will eagerly await all of your upcoming new books!

The Lehigh Valley Book Festival is a celebration of books and the strong connections they forge – bringing published authors, illustrators, and readers together, through thoughtful, approachable, and inclusive programming. We shared The Bone War with the children and families who attended the event. We had a great time and want to thank Let’s Play Books for including us in the event!

On another beautifully sunny spring day, we joined the Moore Pride team of over 400 children at Moore Elementary School to share our Tucker and Zoey Adventures presentation. It was another great day of meeting some amazing kids and inspiring some future authors and illustrators!

Christian and Tim’s presentation of their Tucker and Zoey series to the students at Moore Elementary School was one, if not the, best author/illustrator we’ve had in the 14 years I’ve been Principal of our school! Their blend of humor, passion, kindness and friendship grasped the students’ attention and never let go. Their explanation the writing & illustrating processes they use inspired many students to immediately take their recommendations and put it into their own class work the very same day! Hearing the story behind Tucker & Zoey, as well as Myles, provided a personal touch to their stories and presentation. The students and staff were so excited throughout, and asked the following day to have Christian and Tim come back next year! Great presentation, but even better people – I highly recommend Christian and Tim come to your school!!

On a wonderfully warm spring day, we had the opportunity to share our Tucker and Zoey Adventures presentation with over 600 children at Lower Nazareth Elementary School. The children were awesome and asked some great questions about our journey and writing & illustrating process.

We had an amazing time sharing our Tucker and Zoey Adventures presentation for the children at Lincoln Elementary. The comments below from Adrienne and Cindy tell the story better than we can!

The dynamic duo of Christian Bensing and Timothy Feather really wowed us at Lincoln Elementary School! Our students and staff loved every minute. Their message transcends far beyond just writing and drawing pictures; they taught our students the “4P’s” to finding success in ANY aspect of life: have a PASSION, find your PEOPLE, find your PURPOSE, and have PATIENCE. Their amazing presentations (which they geared towards the different grade levels) and author meet and greets definitely inspired our budding authors and illustrators! Many students and their families are still reaching out and talking about their love for rescue pups Tucker and Zoey, and about the great day they had with this awesome duo. They were so easy to work with in preparation for our visit, and their presentations were perfectly planned. It’s obvious they love what they do!

We had a great time reading “The Bone War” and “Lap Cat Deluxe” for the children at Butz Elementary. We shared photos of Tucker & Zoey as well as a behind the scenes look at the process of writing and illustrating a children’s book. Our visit included presentations for 3 age groups with content catered to each age group.

We had a great time reading of “The Bone War” and “The Bed War” and were excited to be back in Northampton for our second book reading at the library. The kids enjoyed our giant cutouts of the dogs and getting a picture with them after the reading.

We loved our visit to @northamptonapl! Even in the sweltering heat, young readers were having fun listening to Tucker & Zoey’s adventures! The kids asked great questions, and we had a blast spending the afternoon with them.

We loved our visit to Palmer Library! The wind tried to turn Tucker and Zoey into kites, but some fast-acting young readers were able to catch the runaways. With a couple of well-placed rocks, all were back to enjoying The Bone War! We look forward to returning to share The Bed War and The Bath War!
